How To Dominate The Search Results With Social Media SEO

Social media has been on the rise since it was first introduced.
No doubt about that.
The thing is that most SEO’s don’t know how to do this properly and often times just ignore them completely. But here’s a cold fact – Google loves social media.
There’s no denying it and as a matter of fact, Google indexing rates have been exploding lately. That means that if you’re constantly tweeting about your website and promoting your content online then you have a very nice chance to score some big ticket links back to your website that’ll skyrocket your trust.
This is huge.
So, how do you optimize your social media profiles for the search engines?
E-Z.
Follow practically the same guidelines you would for a website. Here’s a picture of my tumblr blog:

Things to note are:
  • Page Title
  • URL
  • Meta descriptions

Social Media SEO 101

These are the factors that Google uses to determine relevancy and so you should optimize them using your brand name and your city + service wherever possible. In this case I used “Miami SEO” because those are the terms that I’m targeting directly.
You can do this with every single social networking platform out there and it is incredibly powerful and Google loves it. Be on Google’s good side for once and optimize your social media channels. Here’s a list of web 2.0 properties you can go out there and dominate with:
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Pinterest
  • Tumblr
  • Blogspot
  • Weebly
  • LiveJournal
  • About.me
  • Flavors.me
  • RebelMouse
  • LinkedIn
  • G+
  • G+ Business Page
  • Diigo
  • Digg
  • Delicious
  • Evernote
  • YouTube Channel
  • YouTube Video
  • etc..
There are so many that it would take me a whole day to list them all here.
Once you have them all set-up correctly with your titles & metas the next step is to then inter-link them so that Google knows they all belong to you. Also, you’d be “stacking” their incredibly domain authority and creating a tremendous trust fortress around your website which will propel your rankings incredibly.
Once you have all this set-up you can then begin to post and update people with your content and linking back to your website which is extremely natural and it creates even more juice and power that will propel your business further.
You put all these factors together and you have yourself a recipe for search engine domination. And like always, I’ll drop a little top-secret hint here.
If you build links to these sites, you can start to “blanket” the whole first page which will increase the click-through-rate to your website to astronomical levels and add extra revenue to your business in this manner.
Anyways, today’s post is a little shorter than the others because I think I’m beginning to develop a case of writer’s block or something if such a thing exists for search engine marketers.
This weekend I did something I thought I wouldn’t be able to do and that is that I produced around 14,000 words of content in two days.
To me, that’s crazy because I’ve always had difficulty writing even as much as 500 words. A big personal accomplishment for sure.
But I’ll talk to you tomorrow with more tips and tricks to dominate your competition.
As always,
David Alvarez.
